Missing football club

I did not attend my favourite football club.
The last Friday, I bought a pair of football shoes and socks and the shin pads. The last week I first attended the club and found that all team mates wore football shoes. I wore usual sneakers and that made me slip many times because I do not have any football shoes. Usually football shoes have big nails on their bottoms and if you are kicked by those shoes without wearing shin pads, you will be injured. We need to protect our shins.
I was looking forward to the club, and I was ready to attend it!

Before going the club I have one hour free time in my room and I decided to take a rest.
I felt a bit tired therefore it could be good to take a rest before playing.
When I became conscious, I found that I missed my football club.
I was so disappointed with this conclusion.
Do not mind!
I can attend the next week!

My cat

I received n E-mail from my mother saying that my cat died.
He came to my dream to say good bye yesterday.
Because of his coming to my dream, I was not shocked compared the case of
no before notice.
I talked with him on phone . He can not speak human language but I know he can recognize my voice and his name even of telephone. I asked my family to put telephone speaker on his ear and I called his name.

My cat

I have a cat in my parent house in Japan. His name is Charmy.
He is older than 19 years old.
I heard usually cats live about 8 years or something like that.
I met him when I was a elementary school student.
I spent much time with him more than 19 years since then.
He is always quiet.
Sometime I thought he should be more cheerful to make us happy.
In this way, I sometime complain to him.
Yesterday, I met him in my dream.
He was sleeping and my family told me he can not live out of this month.
I felt so sad and claimed about it. I thought it is hard to live without him because I love him so much.
I woke up in a sad feeling.
I called to my family to talk with my lovely family and ask about my cat.
Before I asked about him, my mother said that he might no be able to live longer.
I am not surprised that I am ready to hear it.
I think he would come to my dream to say good bye, so he will not recover.
I really appreciate his, my cat’s kindness.
Although he was sometime boring and quiet, he was always with me when I am happy and when I am not happy.
He just came to my room by himself and stayed there even if I complained to him about his attitude.

The tennis club

Today, I joined the tennis club in my university. I have not played tennis for a long time so I was really happy to play tennis.
When I run after a boll, I usually concentrate the boll so much.
Today I concentrate the boll and slipped hardly. I could not stand up immediately because it was so painful. The guy who played with me asked me if I was all right or not. I answered that I was not all right, of course!
I do not want to make him worry, so I stood up as soon as possible and said I was all right.
I found that
The surfaces of my elbow and berry were injured.
You can imagine how hardly I slipped from the fact my berry was injured.
It was just surfaces but still painful.

I left as they were because it is not so serious and just small injury, but my blood was on my white T-shirt and I looked something terrible.
I think many people can be scared of my bloody T-shirt. What the worst is that the injury on my berry sticks to the T-shirt and I need to be patient every time when I try to pull my T-shirt from the injury.

I got injured, but except these injuries I was able to spend nice time!

Lady’s food ball team

I attended a lady’s food ball team. I played foot ball in England.
How English thing I did!
Actually I did not play foot ball when I was in Japan. I am a perfect foot ball beginner.
There were about 15 team mate and they were so friendly to me. For some of them, it was also the first day to attend.
There is a coach, who was the only male person of the team.
My English still needs to develop especially in the listening skill. I can not understand what the coach said and just did what other team mates did.
He seemed to be confused because I did not understand him sometime. I think almost all team mates are native English speakers, I guess. I was the only Asian girls of them.
Anyway, I saw some difficulty in listening there.
Except that, I enjoyed so much.
Especially I am so pleased to be able to make friends with UK cute foot ball players. I wanted have UK female friends. I found out the some of them live in the same area Ilive. I hope not far future I want to have girl’s meeting with them and chat many rubbish girls matter such as clothes and boys and food.
I will attend every Monday from now on. I think I need to buy foot ball shoes and socks otherwise I will slip many times again at the next lesson.

The Albert Arms Pub

I went to the pub by myself because I think it is nice if I want to speak with local people. I came here to learn not only my subject but also develop my English. Honest speaking, I do not have much chance to speak with local people and I do no have any local friends and my English is still bad. I have about 15 course mates, they are nice but most of them are also oversea students.
I sometime need to be localized!
Actually it is hard to understand what the local usual people speak because it is different from English text and BBC news. For example, the man said to his dog ‘all way’, I could not see the meaning of it. It means the order of lying down.
I talked with some people. The pub keepers and a man with his dog and old lady and other man etc…
Today, I learn that there are three kind of beer, Lugger and Sider and Bitter.
Lugger is fizzier that bitter. I drunk a cup of Bitter, and a man with his dog ordered a another cup of bitter for me. It was so kind of him, wasn’t him?
I did not know even the word ‘fizzy’ and I learned from the pub keeper. It means that the liquid contains more gas.
It was a quite cosy place so I will be there again.

I had to take it

Today I got my Contact lens shop. It took about two months.
I started to try to buy Contact lens from August.
In UK, they have different system from Japanese one.
I am not familiar with UK’s system and this unfamiliarity made me confused.
In Japan, people just go to Contact lens shop and see a doctor and optician and get what they want in a hour. In UK, people have more careful way.

1. People go to the Contact lens shop and make an appointment to the inspection.
2. People go to the Contact lens at the time of the appointment and take the inspections.
There are two kinds of inspections.
a. The inspection of the visual acuity and health issue(o£)
b. The inspection of the size or other issue related to the contact lens (18 £)

3. People order the contact lese and pay for their purchases.(depend on their purchase, so ?£)
4. About two weeks wait for their contact lens’ coming to the shop.
5. People go to the contact lens shop and try their new contact lens. If their contact lens do not fit their eyes for some reasons, they have to order again and have to wait two weeks again.

6. If their contact lenses fit successfully, they have to pay for optician’s checking the contact lens’ fitting in your eyes.(20£)

I understand UK system, but I can not take it. I can not see why people have to pay for optician’s checking the contact lens’ fitting in your eyes. (20£) People already paid for the inspection of the size or other issue related to the contact lens (18 £). I think it is strange but it is just system I had to take it.
I want to know if UK people really take it a usual thing.

what made me happy today

What my classmate said to me today made me a little warm.
It was a really small tiny thing, so maybe he did not know that.

He asked me if I was fine or not at the break time of our lectures.
I thought it was strange because we had been in the same classroom from morning and it was already afternoon nearly evening.
Now, I think he did not have anything to talk with me and just wanted to say something to me, so I should have answered just ‘fine’. However I asked him back why he asked me that question after being with more than 6 hours and he should have known I was fine. He answered that the health issue was important so he asked me and he would ask every chance.
Since I was child, I have always asked questions to the people around me. My parents did not like it because it was so annoying especially when they were busy. Some people ignored and some people just laughed and some people kindly tried to answer even if the question was rubbish. When I was in Japan, almost all people were busy and they got angry when I asked something which seemed silly. Now I am an adult lady and do not ask many questions as I did, but still I like to ask sometimes if it does not annoy people.
I feel happy when people answer to my silly question neatly.

I know that sometime I need to refrain from asking questions because it can annoy people but I think asking question might be a good habit. I can avoid misunderstanding and I can have more chances to communicate with people.

my favorite

I have found some favourites since I came to London.
EX.
I found that the parks in London are so beautiful and they can make me satisfy and feel free from annoyance. I found that potato in London is so delicious and it can be equivalent to Japanese Hokkaido Potato. I found that the Pubs in London are so nice place and I can talk with many people who I do not know. I found that the lawn in London is so soft and we can tremble without felling pain.

One more thing!
I have found that the Organic Tomato can is so delicious. I eat it every two days.

I saw this sky and went to back to my room to take my degital camera all the way.
How beautiful! I start to have affection to the place where I am now. I have been here for 2 weeks and I will be here only one year. Only one year...
I need to take every chance to see and feel everything here becasue my time is short.

nice man and lady

Today I met one bad middle man who tried to me do bad things.
Of course his trial was ended in vain. I think they lost what is called timidity or shame.
Sometime especially middle age men try that. They don’t not love me but try to pick me up just because they are interested in what I have.
I hope my favourite male friends will not be that kind of person when they get old, please.
I also try to be nice middle sophisticated lady.
