British Library

I went to the British Library. Now we can see the exhibition of Hans Christian Andersen, the author of the ‘Ugly Duckling’ and ‘Tin soldiers and Mermaids’
I found out that the occupation of him before he became a successful author, who was a shay and awesome child was a bullet dancer. He is interesting person, isn’t it?
Beside of this exhibition, I saw the exhibition of holly books in the world. We can see various holly books of various religions not to speak of Old testament and Koran and Bible. Those books are authentic ones and really old such as 500 years old or 700 years old. It was so impressive when I imagined many people must have relied on these books to survive their hard time. Those books must be the best seller books in the world in spite of that Holy books can not make people laugh nor give us concrete useful information as Time OUT.
It seemed quite interesting from the person who almost do no have any religion especially considering to that some of my friends in London have strong loyalty to their religion and they are so polite and humility even if they are superior in their ability or rich or beauty.

I found out one thing in Japanese language. We can express what is different and what is wrong with a word 'CHIGAU.
I wondered that what is different could be wrong in Japanese society.
And I felt the power of language

banana

Today I bought bananas and a bottle of water insted of sweet bread and chemical drinkfor my snack.
Usually I prefer sweet bread and chemical drink.
The last friday, one chinese man suggested me to eat more helthy food.
So, I followed his advice.
When I met him, I was waiting for a traffic light to turn green.
I was waking on the street with eating sweet bread eagerly because I was hungy at the moment.
He asked me how much the bread was.
I answerd that it was cost about 80P. He told me that if I but 2 pieces of banana(30p) and small roast chicken(49P), it would have cost about 79p.
Today I could not find small roast chicken. I bough a bunch of banana.

new supermarket

It was a so nice day.
I took a walk around around negihbor.
I went to a supermarket which is bigger than what I usually go .
I do not remenber the location of it exactly because my friends took me there and
it was my first time to go there.

When we saw olive cans, we were confused about which one is much cheaper.
We caliculated how much per one gram.
But do we have to eliminate the weight of the liquit? One can contained much
liquid, the other hand one did not.
So complicated.
At last, we found that the prices per one gram drained were already on labels on shelves.

reading hands

When I was waiting the traffic signal to turn green, I was talked to by a man who is small and about fifty old Chinese. He said he has been in London over thirty years. He looked humble nice friendly man. He said his work is mortgage.
He said he could read hands, so I showed my hands to him. What he guess about me was exactly true. I think he might be genuine. In Japan, some people from a religious group sometimes try to catch people talking to about reading hands on roads. They usually say that our hands said we need to join their group to be happy and if we left it, we could not be happy. But I believe the man I saw today was just kind, because he did not talk about his religious or happiness. So I wish I can see him on the road again.

He guessed that I lost my health some years ago. It is true. I do not have any sick now but I know that I do not have much power as I had before.
He said that I should eat lamb meat or venison(dear meat). These meats could reinforce our immunity system, he said. He recommends me dry read currant fruits.
He said that I can put dry read currant fruits into any soup. I think I can do issue of dry read currant fruits but I see difficulty with the issue of lamb meat or venison(dear meat) . the smell of lamb is not familiar to me and I do not know how to cook them. If you know me, could you tell me?

real

I watched three TV dramas. The most impressive one is hospital story. The story it self is about human relations between doctors and nurses and patients but there are many scenes which described operations. Doctors pulled a baby from the cut belly, and it was quite real description.

‘Digression’

In the English lesson, my English teacher asked us that what we do not need to write down during attending lectures. I answered ‘Digression’ in stead of ‘Digression’. He stared me for a while, but he did not laugh at all. I think we can respect him.

I went to the Japanese consular office to hand in the registration document which is needed to a person who stays more than three month. Japanese consular has a small gate and elegant and looks exclusive to me. At first, it was difficult tome to enter, but I fond out that the Japanese consular office in London is small cozy place and officers are kind. I think I can get in easily when I come here.

cream beef stew

I made cream beef stew to the shared kitchen party. I made this dish with the paste of Japanese products and I introduced it as a Japanese domestic dish. But I wonder we can eat cream stew all over the world. I want to know if it is common dish all over the world or not.

Greenwich

I went down Thames river to Greenwich. The observatory Mr. Harriosn who invented the idea of meridian build is still on the top of the hill in the Greenwich park. The observatory was made by him to observe the sky, so we can see unique roof and windows which are suitable to observe the sky. I though he must have worn gorgeous clothes with many knods of ribbons and oberved the sky.

about Love

Today, we talked about LOVE. We asked that why Asian people tend to hesitate to say ‘I love you’. It is a difficult question to answer, isn’t it? We can think of some reasons. We are afraid of being rejected. It is too true to say that ‘I love you’. If we say that the love decreases in value because everyone can say. Even if for me, a Japanese person it is difficult to answer.

Japan center

I went the Japan center. It is a shop where we can buy Japanese product food. In the shop, we might feel we are in Japan, because everything is Japanese. It was crowded and some UK people also are there. They looked products curiosity so much that the way they looked made me wondered whether they knew how to eat or not.

morning call

This morning, I had an in-line telephone call. Usually I do not use this telephone system. I do not know even my extension number. I picked up my telephone.
The person on the telephone said that he needed some help because he was shot. I asked him why he called me not his friend. He could not answer to my question.
He must be a drunken student.
I introduce myself as a bold fat forty year old woman who had 5 year old daughter.
He asked me if I had a sister or not. I said no.
He asked me if I had a young female cousin. I said no.
I think most men have some similarity. I hope he is not drunk now.

a card

One of my teachers is leaving school. I liked her lectures, because always there was much context in her lecture and it made me happy and exciting.
I wanted to express my thanks, so I went to buy a card. I chose a big card for enough space of 11 classmates. I like cards. Using cards, people can express one’s emotion directly. A car is small, but it shows one’s emotion obviously.
In Japan, we tend to hide our emotion. Of course we have some cars culture, but it is a little different. Japanese people might think that there is not need to express what is obvious. But I think we sometime need to express obvious things, because obvious things are not obvious for everyone.

Be positive!

I found out that in UK there is no such idea as a body grease rate. In Japan a body grease rate is a common idea, and it is not rear that weight measure have a function to measure a body grease rate. My friend said that it was negative to meager a body grease rate. She said we should measure a body muscle rate. I agree with her to hear her opinion. OK! I will be positive. The part of body which is not grease is not necessary muscle. We only can have the idea that a rate of the part of body which is not grease.
100%-( a body grease rate)= (a rate of the part of body which is not grease.)

Cambridge

I went to Cambridge. It took about only one hour from London by train.
Width of a main street was only two cars and two pedestrian’s roads. It was a rural quiet town. There is a rumor that the apple tree which helped Newton invented the idea of gravity of the earth is still there. But I heard an apple tree can not live over three hundred years.
