Notting Hill

I found a cooking book shop at Notting hill.（The movie, Notting hill was filmed there.）
The shop is recognized by its red unique facade and there is a big red leather sofa in the small shop. Red color might be its signature color.
I was there for more than one hour because the shop was cozy.
Eventually I have bought a cooking book at the price of ￡5.
I found another attractive book which shows about various wines and cheese with pictures.
I though that I can enjoy reading this book although I might not have a chance to eat exclusive wines and cheese.
However I did not buy.
I like this shop and though that I will come here before soon.

eel day

28th July is the eel day in Japan.
So I ate a eel bowl in London.(My friend gave me.Thanks, Yukko.)
Japanese people have a custom to eat eels this day, becaue it is thought that eels are nutritious,so it is good to eat eels especially in the hot summer time. It is easy to lost physical vigor in the summer time.
In London, it is not hot rather quite cool.
I wear a sweat shirt and long trousers. One on my friends in my accomodation said that summer has alreay gone. If it is true, it is too sad because I am ready to welcom hot summer eating a eel bowl.

First culture shock

I have found a big difference between the ways of treating customers in London and those in Tokyo. In London, people are treated as just people even if they are customers. I have paid £70 to connect the internet in my room for four months use. Three months have already passed, and still I can't use it. I have been visited PC help desk in my university every week to claim about thier non reation to my asking help.
I do not know if I will be able to use internet in my room for the rest one month.(Thanks to Yukko for your correcting my grammer and spelling misses)

British Ramien

Ramien is a kind of chinese noodle which has been popular in Japan, and Japanese people have changed it to their favor.
Today I made a dish of Ramien for my dinner. My friend had brought ingredients, and
I made it more british. I put many boiled potate on the top of it which is staple food here in UK.
I have recieved a parcel from my parents. Contents of it were Japanese rice cake and Japanese cookies. My parents should have known that I prefer western cookies to Japanese cookies. Though I do not know what to do with huge amount of Japanese cookies and they are almost all available in London, I was pleased to receive them.

similar to Fathers

My frirnd who has come from Japan on her holiday said that she is weak for alcohol because of her mother's gene.
Although it is natural that they are similar to thier parents because of thier genes, I feel something strange to her phrase. Can girls say that they have small breasts because thier fathers have small breasts.
I do not know whether if her father was a woman, he would be still strong for alcohol or not.
I think if fathers was a woman, they would not have small breasts.
Conclusion;I think we can not say the person is weak for alcohol because of his/her mother's gene.

Begger

I have often come across beggers since I came here. Today, I also came across a begger. When I was walking on a road , a pregnant lady tolked me. Firstly,She introduced herself politely. She just came here from a north parth of England to leave her husband, who is alchoholic.She said she needed $40 to get place to stay.
I answered that I could not help her. She required me £4 for lunch meal.
I was so sorry for her, but I did not have even 50pence at the moment truly.
I told that I did not have even 50pence, but her expression of face was saing that it could not be true.
Even if I have had money, I would not have given her because I am a poor student.
Insted of money, I gave her two sweet candies.
I wonder why many pregnant women have to be begger.

Lake district

I rowed on the lake. There is another boat where a couple was on, and the girl was rowing. Their boat was in the parallel posotion and the same direction of my boat.
It was like competeing, so I rowed as hard as possible.

Peter rabbit

I went to the lake district which is four hours from London by train.
This area is the place which the most famoue rabbit in the world come from.
The way to enjoy traveling here is appreciating peaceful atomosphere drinking tea and talking your close person.
I also enjoyed drinking tea and talking with my friend, who came to see me from Japan. "Do you think whether woman over there is pregnant or obese?

Reunion

My best friend is comming,so I go to heathrew airport to pick up my friend.
Usually, it takes only less than one hour to get the air port, but I needed two hours to get there because some chube line still out of order due to the boms in London. Anyway I got there and saw my frien, so I am happy.

The most difficult thing in London

I think the most difficult thing in London might be walking straight on streets.
Not so crowred.
It is sale season.
We can be easily caught by the notices saying '70% OFF' and see show windows.
We can find some attractive things and be drew into shops. It is fun to see many colorful things although it is difficult to find things which is suitable in size and material for me, little Japanese.
Even if I decid to walk straight,I can not. I think I deen the equipment the race horse wears to make it not being abole to see side to concentrate run straight.

a good event

Today, I have a good event. I do not always come across good events but sometime I come across good events which please me.
One of my friends who I think is cute and sweet like a prince in The Arabian Night story gave me a lunch box made by himself because I said to him I have not eaten Kusukusu which is the staple diet in his country.
I think kusukusu is made of flour,but I am not sure.
The container of lunch box was the prastic ice cream container.
There was a label of vanilla ice crem on the lid of it, so I think he like vanila ice cream. On the other hand, there was a label of straberry ice cream on the side of the container. Presumably, he likes both of them.
In conclusion,
I think I will do a favor for people around me, if I can make people pleased like me.

TOEFL

Today, I was going to take a TOFLE test, a English language test.
But when I got the place, there was a notice sheet saying that the test was canceled because of the Boms in London.
I could not see why they need to canel the nest and why they did not send E-mail beforehand.
I gave up the school trip to Bath in order to take the test.
Still they do not send me any E-mail.

poor bleed

Today I had a symptom of the poor bleed.
I think I need to eat spinach.
