Breast Cancer Research shop

I started to work at a Breast Cancer Research shop as a volunteer.
Today was my second day there.
Actually I like this shop because I can talk with people in town and know much about them. Sunday is a day when much donation items are coming because people clean up their house and find things to donate. Some are quite nice things and some are not quite so nice (rubbish).
This season is the Christmas season and there are many Christmas items in the shop. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and cheerful because of Christmas items.
When I was in the shop, one kids asked me ‘Have you got kids clothes? ‘
We carry some, but not so many and I do not know how to answer so I asked help my colleague.
The kid bought a nit hat and said to me ‘Are you learning?’
He seemed not a cute kids, I means he looked something naughty.
My colleague was a cute English girl who is only fourteen years olds. I am surprised how she looked mature. She said she is not over mature looking but quite average looking. I learned from her that High school students need to be volunteers to get some qualification which can be useful to apply to Universities. The name of the qualification is ‘Duke of Edinburgh’. What is related to Edinburgh? I do not know.

Lemon, ginger & mango

Lemon, ginger & mango

In Japan, there are some medicines for multi symptoms for catching a cold. In UK, I heard there are no such things. I asked UK people, what they should take, most of them said that they take Vitamin, eating fresh fruits and supplement.
I think it might be logical because Japanese multi medicines for catching a cold are made up of vitamin mostly.
Now, I catch a cold and I could not fined appropriate medicine to me, so I decide to drink a cup of ginger tea. To elaborate, it is lemon, ginger & mongo tea.

Canterbury

I have a day trip to Canterbury to visit my friend. The Canterbury Cathedral was so impressive and beautiful. When I see something beautiful I feel filled with something warm always. This time I felt filled with something warm and think being in UK is the nicest choice in my life. In the Canterbury Cathedral, the lesson of gospel singing was taking place and we can hear gospel there. Lucky us!
Although I had to pay £4 to enter the Cathedral, my friend, Ms. R can visit this Cathedral free because she is a inhabitant of this town. I am a bit of envious of her to live a town which have such a beautiful Cathedral.

an acquaintance.

Every Sunday, I go to the supermarket where is the nearest.
The Sunday before the last, I met an old man who sit on an auto wheel chair in from of the shelves of toilet paper. He could not reach the products on high shelves. He asked me to take blue toilet paper for him. I took a piece of toilet paper for him. He is old and not be able to move his body even upper-body but his eyes are beautiful.
This week I met him in from of the shelves of butter. When I saw him, I said hello to him and he asked me to take butter for him.
I took a piece of it for him.
I remember his face and I think he also remember me because when he saw me he smiled.
I am so happy to have an acquaintance and I am happy to help him.
I hope I can see him often and I can help him.
So I will go to the supermarket around 2 pm next Sunday which is the time I met him.
