Tomoko's Blog

Originally I made this blog to communicate with with my friends I made with in London . I arrived in London at 14th April 2005 and this is my start studying here. I like computer staff and would like to develop knowledge in that field . I am getting some knowledge from my friends who are so much in that field. So I would like to try what I get and put them on this blog which is useful and understandable for non computer expert person besides my personal diary.

what made me happy today

What my classmate said to me today made me a little warm.
It was a really small tiny thing, so maybe he did not know that.

He asked me if I was fine or not at the break time of our lectures.
I thought it was strange because we had been in the same classroom from morning and it was already afternoon nearly evening.
Now, I think he did not have anything to talk with me and just wanted to say something to me, so I should have answered just ‘fine’. However I asked him back why he asked me that question after being with more than 6 hours and he should have known I was fine. He answered that the health issue was important so he asked me and he would ask every chance.
Since I was child, I have always asked questions to the people around me. My parents did not like it because it was so annoying especially when they were busy. Some people ignored and some people just laughed and some people kindly tried to answer even if the question was rubbish. When I was in Japan, almost all people were busy and they got angry when I asked something which seemed silly. Now I am an adult lady and do not ask many questions as I did, but still I like to ask sometimes if it does not annoy people.
I feel happy when people answer to my silly question neatly.

I know that sometime I need to refrain from asking questions because it can annoy people but I think asking question might be a good habit. I can avoid misunderstanding and I can have more chances to communicate with people.
