Tomoko's Blog

Originally I made this blog to communicate with with my friends I made with in London . I arrived in London at 14th April 2005 and this is my start studying here. I like computer staff and would like to develop knowledge in that field . I am getting some knowledge from my friends who are so much in that field. So I would like to try what I get and put them on this blog which is useful and understandable for non computer expert person besides my personal diary.

PC users group

Since my friend said that he will make a presentation in this meeting, I decided to attend.
First I met him at the book club and he was wearing Ubuntu-t-shirt and I find out he is a nerd.
I planed to attend the meeting with my other nerd friend.
Unfortunately, I was late for the meeting since I could not finish my work and missed his presentation.
However it was not bad nit, is' it?!
I met my nerd friends and had Pizza dinner.
Do you think it is nice if I wear Ubuntu-t-shirt sometimes?

For most people, the word "nerd" has a negative meaning. You shouldn't use it to talk about your friends. If you write about your friends in your blog as "nerds", they will stop being your friends!

You should probably say "techie", "hacker" or "tech guru".

Also, your wrote "nit" instead of "night". "Nit" means the small insect that lives in people's hair:
