65~69years old 398 215
60~64years old 505 233
55~59years old 638 263
50~54years old 667 266
45~49years old 662 278
40~44years old 634 281
35~39years old 560 296
30~34years old 463 300
25~29years old 381 295
20~24years old 271 231
19years old以下 156 126
total average 542 271
Men earn most when they are 50~54years old. Women earn most when they are 30~34years old.
Women’s average never over 300. This amount is a bit small to live independently.
I do not say it is unfair. I think many Japanese women are not interested in independent.
It does not mean women are not allowed to be independent. I think if they want they still have way.

That is contrary to what I have read on the subject. From What I hear alot of women are not getting married and having children because they would rather pursue a career to maintain their own disposable income and independance. Something that should be afforded to all women but instead the traditional family situation in japan relies on a woman staying home and taking care of their children while the man goes to work. This is what I read from Narratives of Japanese students studying at UCLA in the US. Some of whom describe the reason of studying or working in the US is because of equality and that in modern western families both the husband and wife work which is the reason the US has about a little more than 3 times the larger economy with barely twice as many people.
