Tomoko's Blog

Originally I made this blog to communicate with with my friends I made with in London . I arrived in London at 14th April 2005 and this is my start studying here. I like computer staff and would like to develop knowledge in that field . I am getting some knowledge from my friends who are so much in that field. So I would like to try what I get and put them on this blog which is useful and understandable for non computer expert person besides my personal diary.

Christmas Present Java book

I've got a present from the Santa close this year already.
Every year, when I got something nice coincidence or nice given things, I think that must be from the Santa close .
This year I got a book from him.
When I ordered three boos from Amazon, they sent me four books.
I really ordered only three books:Data base and the two finance bookkeeping. I can only see three books on the receipt.
However one more book I find in the parcel. A Java learning book.
That book really slimier to the book I was using to learn Java in London.
To be honest, Java was so tough to study and I am not really happy for this present.
Actually my first Java book in London was a Christmas present from my friend. He gave me the book misunderstanding that I am desperately studying it.
Actually I left that book in London since it is a too heavy book and my bag were too full to have it. That book is now in Russia. My friend who gave me this book took this book to his country.
I am quite sure he remember me every time when he saw this book on his shelf.
That book was my firs technical book in English written.
I found that technical book in English is somehow understandable that ones in Japanese although my English is not so good.

Of course, I can return the book to Amazon since it is delivered by mistake. However I feel kind of destiny from this event so I decided not to return this boon until Amazon asks me to return it.
I've got a new Java book on my shelf now.
I am not sure why Santa close choose this book as the Christmas present to me, but I think I will take it.
